Module Overview
This module introduces criminology as both a field of study and a practical framework for understanding how crime is defined, analyzed, and addressed within the criminal justice system. The readings and discussion activities focus on the evolving nature of crime, the professional roles that contribute to criminological knowledge, and the relationship between crime definitions, social values, and policy decisions.
