Terrorist organizations face persistent challenges that affect their ability to recruit, communicate, finance operations, maintain leadership, and carry out attacks. These challenges are shaped by counterterrorism pressure, internal dynamics, and external environments. Understanding these constraints is essential for identifying vulnerabilities that can be exploited by law enforcement, intelligence, and emergency management agencies.
In this discussion, you will analyze five common challenges faced by terrorist groups and apply real world examples to illustrate how these challenges affect organizational effectiveness.
